Workshops in Costa Rica
Over the years, I have led several workshops focused on the connection between inner work and sound, collaborating with other musicians and working especially with young musicians.
For me, it is essential to place the human and spiritual dimensions of the musician at the center of this process, understanding sound as an expression of inner awareness, presence, and personal growth.
"Toco y luego existo"
2021
It was a pedagogical project developed in 2022, carried out in collaboration with the SINEM de Plátano, Costa Rica.
The project approached music as an act of presence: playing the instrument meant existing fully in the here and now. From this perspective, sound was explored as a bridge between the performer’s inner world and the listener, capable of generating an authentic experience of communication and human resonance.
"Tu Palabra- Tu Sonido"
2025
This project explores sound as a process that brings together musical technique and inner work. Through the conscious choice of a word, each student defines the intention behind their sound and develops a personal approach to flute practice.
The chosen word acts as a guide, connecting inner dialogue with breath and sound production. In this way, technical work becomes a coherent and expressive experience, allowing sound to emerge as an authentic means of communication with the listener.
The project was developed in 2025 in collaboration with the SINEM de Plátano in Costa Rica and invites participants to reflect on a central question:
